What Recurring Aerial Documentation Gives You
A record that settles questions. When a dispute comes up about when something was installed, what conditions were before excavation, or whether a subcontractor's work was complete on a given date, a dated aerial photograph answers it. That record costs very little to maintain and is worth a great deal the one time you need it.
Reporting your stakeholders actually read. Owners and investors aren't reading your schedule updates closely. They will look at a photograph. A monthly aerial set communicates progress faster and more convincingly than any narrative.
Site awareness for your own team. Logistics problems invisible from the trailer — laydown creeping into access routes, drainage pooling in a corner nobody visits — are obvious from above.
Marketing material you already paid for. The same imagery that documents the build becomes the portfolio for the next pursuit.
How We Shoot It
We capture each project from consistent altitudes, angles, and positions so images from month to month line up. That consistency is what makes a progress set readable as a sequence rather than a pile of pretty pictures.
A standard visit includes:
- Overall site coverage from multiple altitudes
- The four cardinal orientations, from repeatable positions
- Straight-down orthographic views of the full site
- Detail passes on areas of active work
- Video where requested — orbits, flyovers, elevation reveals

Scheduling

We recommend starting before mobilization. A pre-construction set of existing conditions is the cheapest insurance on the project.

Add Mapping to the Same Flight
Progress imagery answers "how does it look." Mapping answers "how much." Since we're already on site, most clients add an orthomosaic map or earthwork volumes to the same visit at a fraction of what a separate mobilization would cost.
What Drives Cost
Progress documentation is quoted by visit, with recurring programs priced below one-off rates. Cost depends on site size, visit frequency, whether video is included, and how many projects you're running. Contractors documenting several jobs at once are quoted together.
